We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to carry out a supportive role to the General Manager, to assist him with running our two companies; Mango Storage and Mango International

 This role will require a very hands-on self-starter, who is no stranger to multi tasking and can adapt to what can sometimes be a fast paced and diverse group of companies. No two days will be the same, one day you may be organizing the shipment of a parcel to New York and the next coordinating the move of the entire contents of a person\'s home to Brazil. You will be dealing with a wide range of clients with very high demands that require an exceptional level of customer service at all times. We pride ourselves on not being your standard courier company, therefore we need someone who understands our customers\' needs and will thrive on providing a bespoke service. You will be part of a small and dedicated team who work closely with clients to form trustworthy relationships.
Much of the role is based in our central office however, after completion of the initial training period from time to time you may be required to go out on visits to various sites and also meet with clients.

What are we looking for? 

• Someone with the ability to think outside the box
• A multi-tasker who is able to manage their time accordingly
• Excellent communication skills is essential, as you will be frequently dealing with clients and suppliers on a day to day basis
• Good command of English, verbal and written is essential
• No experience of International Shipping/Couriers is necessary as full training will be provided
• A problem solver
• A very good competency of using all Microsoft applications
• Good global geographical knowledge is a bonus but not essential (we would be impressed if you knew where the Pitcairn Islands are?)
• Experience of SAGE or using Databases would be a bonus however not essentially as training will be provided

This role has developed through the expansion of the company, our teams are dedicated and very involved in our growth within the courier and storage industries, and therefore we are looking for the right person who will take on an instrumental role in continuing the growth of Mango Logistics Group.
