  • Business Development Manager

    Purpose of job:

    Based minutes away from Tower Bridge, Mango Logistics Group offers bespoke logistics solutions, both simple and complex to our customers. We believe in delivering excellence beyond measure which has led to our exponential growth year on year. We are looking to expand our team with a Business Development Manager to contribute to the continued success of all the subsidiaries within the group. The BDM will promote and cross-sell all services to target audiences, satisfying client’s needs and increasing Group and individual company revenue and profitability.

    You will be responsible for the development of sales within Mango International, Mango Storage, and Mango Couriers, meeting or exceeding defined business targets.

    What does a BDM at Mango Logistics do?

    Your work will involve undertaking a series of activities relating to the development of sales and business development. Some of these activities are listed below, but it is not a comprehensive list.  You will be required to use your initiative to undertake a variety of activities that will enable you to fulfill your duties to the best of your ability.

    •  To research and develop new prospects and markets
    • To initiate, negotiate and close sales with a variety of customers.
    • To conduct the sales process by telephone, email and in person as appropriate.
    • To implement the sales and marketing strategy for each product and service.
    • To monitor and achieve sales targets which enable Mango to achieve its annual budget.
    • To produce regular sales reports.
    • To lead regular sales update meetings with relevant internal staff.
    • To research and develop new prospects and markets.
    • To continually increase own and Mango’s understanding of existing and emerging markets for our products, including consulting with target audiences about the best ways to reach them and meet their needs.
    • To be sensitive to the changing nature of our markets and to devise creative strategies to meet the markets’ needs.
    • To arrange and attend regular meetings with customers and prospects throughout the UK to understand their needs and promote Mango’s products and services.
    • To arrange and attend regular networking events with customers and prospects throughout the UK to promote Mango’s products and services
    • To seek opportunities for referrals and references from existing clients
    • To manage and maintain a customer sales database (CRM)
    • To ensure that Mango customers receive a professional and high-quality service with all orders fulfilled quickly and accurately and that any late-paying customers are followed up.
    • Ensure every client is aware of, and ideally use, all the Mango services (cross-selling/up-selling)

    •  Proven experience in working to sales targets in a B2B sales environment
    • High level of customer service skills and interaction with internal & external customers
    • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, ACT) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
    • Working in a deadline driven environment
    • Previous work experience in the logistics industry, particularly couriers and storage is desirable
    • Strong IT/Database skills
    • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Strong time management and work prioritisation

  • Account Manager

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to cement long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

    What does an Account Manager at Mango Logistics do?

    Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service, Operations and Sales departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel in and around London.
    If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behaviour, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales targets.
    Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve targets while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.


    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
    • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
    • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
    • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales target
    • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
    • Prepare reports on account status
    • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
    • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
    • Promote Mango’s web presence via reviews and recommendations
    • Ensure every client is aware of, and ideally use, all the Mango services (cross-selling/up-selling)


    • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
    • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, ACT) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Mango Storage Driver & Warehouse Assistant

    Mango Storage Ltd currently looking for a driver and warehouse assistant to join the Storage team.

    Delivery Driver Job Purpose:

    Delivers products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframe. Ensures proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials and deliver high standards of customer care.

    Delivery Driver Job Duties:
    • May deliver up to 100 parcels a day
    • Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time
    • Properly uses and maintains delivery equipment, including handheld scanner
    • May have to lift heavy products or parcels
    • Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
    • Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of collections/deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival
    • Can follow pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course if required
    • Maintains communication with colleagues/management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule
    • Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time
    Delivery Driver Skills and Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license

    Warehouse Assistant Duties:
    • Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods.
    • Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality (damage reporting)
    • Packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched.
    • Helping to ship out many different lines every day.
    • Picking and packing products.
    • Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas.
    • Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day.
    • Loading and unloading lorries, vans and other vehicles.
    • Maintaining and servicing warehouse tool, machinery and trucks.
    • Labelling goods that have arrived at the warehouse.
    • Operating a forklift and “pump” truck.
    • Welcoming and helping clients who visit the various Mango/Partner sites
    • Contacting transport companies and coordinating dispatch and delivery with them.
    • Preparing deliveries for the van drivers.
    • Moving and organising stock.
    • Ensuring clean and safe workhouses for all staff to work in.
    • Storing stock away safely.
    • Removing hazardous products from the warehouse.
    • Signing off and replenishing stock.
    • Using Mechanical Handling Equipment i.e. fork lift trucks to move goods around.
    • Monitoring stock levels.
    • Moving items through the warehouse from receipt to despatch to customers.
    • Occasionally delivering stock to shops and retail outlets.
    • Accurately updating all data into computer and manual recording systems.
